A castle dance awaits you in Janovice near Rýmařov

You will experience a dancing castle on Saturday 16 August 2025 in Janovice u Rýmařova. An attractive programme of dancers will start at 1 pm. From 6 pm onwards, you will be treated to a composite programme with dancers, swordsmen, bannermen and equestrian performances. And as soon as it gets dark, the fire show will start. The main partner of the event is Angel's tribe Šumperk. In addition, you will have a guided tour of the period interiors where the family of František of Harrach and his staff lived. You will walk through the entrance hall of the Count's apartment, see the tower room, the Countess's drawing room, the couple's bedroom and the study with its original wood panelling and beautiful coffered ceiling. A real rarity is the historic toilet hidden in a baroque inlaid cabinet or the natural history cabinet, which is reminiscent of a former hunting and forestry museum. The large men's salon, converted as a library, contrasts impressively with the elegant second Rococo dining room. The servants' room is an interesting feature. The chateau chapel, with its partially restored paintings and magnificent stained glass windows from the end of the 19th century, rounds off the tour. The individual tours start at 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 o'clock.
