Jeseníky trails that you should not miss - part 3 20.07.2020 - Tomáš Rak vložil article 20.07.2020 08:08 The hundreds of kilometres of hiking trails in the Jeseníky and Rychlebské hory Mountains are connected to, or are part of, dozens of interesting thematic trails. Do you know the most interesting ones? Trails for children One of the most elaborate eco-trails can be found in Švagrovo near Vernířovice. Twelve stops introduce the nature of Jeseník and its inhabitants in an attractive way. The information boards are complemented by interactive and entertaining activities that will make the journey more interesting not only for children. Before you set off on the trail, we also recommend visiting the outdoor exhibitions of the local environmental education centre, i.e. the farmhouse on the pallet, the pond, the insect hotels and the outdoor classroom with an animal playground in the forest. For a fairy tale story about a stray female lynx and her cubs, head to the Kouty area. You will not miss the wooden statue of the lynx Rena, and thus the start of the Rysí skála nature trail, when you enter the complex. The two-kilometre circuit itself is located in the vicinity of the Bear Mountain, 1159 m above sea level. Although it is created in mountain terrain, it is very easy and really suitable for the little ones. The Šumperk suburban forests also offer a pleasant walk with children. The Enchanted Forest with fairy-tale statues has grown up around the former Sanatorka towards the City Rocks. Some of them refer to the local history. For example, Tulinka the Fairy or Kokeš the Elf. However, there are many more fairy-tale creatures, including the wizard Dobroděj, Sedmivous, Eagle with a fish, Teddy Bear and Frog. From the Enchanted Forest you can also take the Angel Trails leading to the Angelarium in Rejchartice. A large natural playground with a nature trail for children was also built in the spa in Jeseník. Part of the Grove of the Fairy Ozdrava is a labyrinth hidden in the middle of the forest, water play elements "Zádrže reservoir" or "Opidum", a hill with a tower. Children can also enjoy educational play elements, wooden statues of elves and swings on the adventure trail around the popular area in Hynčice pod Sušinou. The route includes a nature trail in the landscape - the Blue Trail, which will teach you to read the hundreds of extinct ways of settlement and life with the landscape below Králický Sněžník. | |
