If you are a lover of cycling and water, go for a ride around the Slezská Harta dam. The great advantage of the trip is that you can stop and take a bath at any time. The hilly terrain will be enjoyed especially by passionate cyclists, those less determined can shorten their trip by half and use the Rouza ferry to transport them to the other side of the dam. There is a ferry from Razova to Roudno and vice versa on weekends in June and every day in July and August. Apart from cycling, a great attraction is the cruise on the Silesian Harp. There are two cruise ships crossing the river. A stylish replica of the old wooden sailing ship Santa Maria offers an experience for ten passengers. The second, more modern electric boat Harta, has a capacity of 45 cruisers. Its lower deck is wheelchair accessible and the upper deck is sightseeing. The boat is powered by batteries and additionally by solar panels. In addition, every Sunday from 2 pm you can become the captain of the boat for a while. You can get acquainted with the ship's steering, or perhaps just take a photo with the captain's hat and learn how to tie a proper ship's knot. The splashing of the autumn sea and a drink made from local products on the observation deck is a real treat. The starting point is the Tourist Information Centre in Leskovec nad Moravicí. Cruise tickets for both ships can be booked on the website. | |
